Clane GAA are proud to support the Team Hope Christmas shoe box appeal which is back for 2022. We are encouraging all of our members and families to please support this fantastic initiative.
Our parish has participated for 17 years and are looking forward to sharing the kindness from our community and give a child their Christmas of a lifetime.
You can take part in the usual way - fill your shoe box and drop it into our local schools before 11th November or drop off to Clane Parish Centre on Saturday November 12th from 10:00 to 3:00pm 2022; alternatively, you can now participate and fill a box virtually.
At Home
Cover the box in Christmas paper making sure that you wrap the lid and box separately.
Decide whether your gift will be for a BOY or a GIRL, and which age category.
Stick this label to the outside of the lid
1. Fill the shoe box with your gift
2. Please enclose €4 in an envelope or donate online. Place the envelope inside the box and on the top so that it is clearly visible when it is opened. (Your €4 goes towards the transport, processing and distribution costs of running the project).
3. Secure the lid with an elastic band, and do not seal the box, as it will need to be checked to ensure it meets customs requirements.
We always need boxes for both boys & girls aged 10 – 14. Also, please, if you so wish, personalise your box by including a Christmas card and/or photo.
Online
Build your shoebox online with our quick-donate option or by using our build-a-box feature where you can choose what you'd like to see in your shoebox.
Every €20 donation will create a shoebox for a child affected by poverty.
