Jubilee Team - 1997
At Half Time in the senior match our 1997 Jubilee Team, subs and management will be honoured on the field with medals in front of what is sure to be a packed house.
The build up to he final has been tremendous and the excitement levels around the village have been wonderful to experience. Fintan Doran and the team have done amazing work putting up flags and bunting all around the club and the village. The support from our juvenile teams sending in photos and videos as well as the schools has been fantastic to see. We have numerous posts on social media with the hash tag #PaintClaneWhite.
It has been a long time since Clane contested a senior championship final (1998); in fact our Captain Brian Mcloughlin was born only a couple of weeks before our last final appearance and he will lead the team out this Sunday on his 24th birthday!
Our last win was in 1997 against Sarsfields on a score line of 0-13 to 0-8.
Match Preview and Player Profiles
Hopefully you got to see the Player Profiles we have been posting across our social media channels this past week.
If you didn't get the chance or are on social media we have placed all the player profiles in a shared photo album along with the Program from 1991 when we last faced Naas in the final. We will add the last couple of player profiles asap.
