We are delighted to announce that our club has been awarded €150,000 in the latest round of Sports Capital Development grants.

This grant will go towards the installation of LED Floodlights and fencing for the new all weather pitches (Adult & Juvenile Go Games) and community walkway at the top end of our grounds.

A huge thanks must go to our Capital Development Committee for all their hard work in preparing the grant application.

Last October we had a visit from Minister for Sport, Jack Chambers TD, his party colleague and local Fianna Fáil TD James Lawless as well as local Fine Gael TD Bernard Durkan. They were very impressed with the progress we had made with our development inc. our plans for a fully lit community walkway. We would like to thank them all for their help and support of our application.

We'd especially like to thank James Lawless TD for his support and guidance; James has been a great supporter of our club down the years and regularly participates in our healthy club activities (Get Clane Fit and 5K Community Fun Run etc.).
