A major milestone in our club development plan was reached earlier this week with the completion of the seeding of the new pitches. Timing was perfect as the rain soon followed and while it's not been great for those of us on holidays, it has been great for the grass growth. You can already see a very healthy covering of grass taking hold which looks super.

Meanwhile our Fundo-meter has been updated and we are now at €240,000 in total development funding, edging closer to our €400K target to complete Phase 1.
The next stage of the development will be the addition of a community walkway of which the foundations are already in place, fencing around the pitches, LED flood lighting and changing rooms/toilet facilities. We have had a lot of support already from our members and supporters for which we are truly grateful. This development is for your club, for the community, for current and more importantly future generations of Clane GAA, LGFA and Camogie players.
We would like to appeal to those who are yet to contribute to get behind the development if you are in a position to do so. There are many ways to contribute and in addition there are lots of opportunities for businesses to support our development.
