Our senior footballers travelled to Monasterevan on Saturday evening with promotion to division 1 at stake. They performed admirably in draining conditions to secure an 8-point victory.

This win comes on the back of a very impressive league campaign which has seen us go unbeaten. We have secured victories over Sallins, Two Mile House, Maynooth, Monastervean, Leixlip, Clogherinkoe and Kilcock. The sole blip of the campign to date was an exciting draw with Eadestown (who will be joining us in Division 1) at Conneff Park. The league will conclude with an away trip to Ballyteague next Wednesday evenng.

Playing Division 1 football will undoubtedly benefit our young team going forward. Claondh Abú!!
