Eadestown started brightly and had 1-2 on the scoreboard early in the game. A lovely finish to the net from Sam McCormack brought Clane level at the first water break. Points from Danny Egan and James Behan were cancelled out by another Eadestown goal and we trailed by 2-5 to 1-5 at half time.
Eadestown started the second half strongly and looked to be in a strong position with a four point lead heading onto the final 10 minutes. A 55th minute goal from Sam McCormack got us back within a point.
