We are delighted to welcome back visiting teams and their supporters to Clane GAA. Please read the information below to ensure a safe return to play for all.

Traffic and Parking Restrictions

Clane GAA is currently undergoing a major club development project and as such there are restrictions on traffic and parking in place which, in the interests of safety we need everyone to follow.

Can we please therefore ask you to

1. Please arrive 15 mins earlier then you normally would do.
2. Park in designated parking bays only. If none are available, please park outside on the road in a safe manner.
3. There is currently NO ACCESS to the Top pitches via the road in front of the stand.
4. Access to the Top Pitches is by foot along the hill beside the roadside pitch on the opposite side to the stand.
5. Players/spectators should walk to the top pitch from the car park - see image below
6. Please do not pass the sports wall - unless you are using the bottle bank.
7. Heavy good trucks will be regularly using the road by the stand and will need the area beside the bottle banks to pass each other.
8. Please do not park at the side of the main pitch or at the back of the clubhouse - this area is used by emergency services.

Advice for Spectators

For adult club and inter-county matches 200 spectators will be permitted to attend GAA games. This number is in addition to players, team personnel, stewards or media attendees. It is expected that Senior matches will be designated as all ticket matches and these will be made available for purchase from our web site (more details to follow).

Please note - for underage games, where parents are attending in a child-protection capacity, they will count as part of the 200 spectators permitted to attend.

It is imperative that all spectators (including those who have been vaccinated) adhere to social distancing guidelines when travelling to games, arriving at the ground, at the ground itself, when using toilets and facilities and when leaving the ground and travelling home. Avoid congregating in groups at all times!

Spectators should be aware that in attending GAA, Camogie and LGFA games not all the risks posed from Covid-19 can be eliminated but that essential control measures have been put in place to reduce risks for spectators.

• Spectators must not attend games if they display any symptoms of Covid-19 and instead should phone their GP and follow public health advice.
• Individuals that are considered high risk or are in close contact with others who are considered high risk should not attend games (click here)
• Much of the responsibility for managing Covid-19 risk remains with you the spectator, particularly in relation to social distancing, the wearing of face coverings and sanitation
• Spectators should bring their own hand sanitiser.
• The use of face coverings is required for all patrons over the age of 13 (including those who have been vaccinated).
• Spectators must not enter the field of play at any time, whether pre-match, at half-time and other intervals or after the final whistle or at end-of-match presentations
• Spectators should keep their own record of contacts at a match for potential tracing purposes.

• Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all areas inside the ground for all staff and spectators to avoid congregation in semi covered areas and for public health reasons.
