The GAA have announced that the player injury fund extension from 2020 will expire this month and members who haven't renewed their membership will no longer be covered by the player injury (insurance) fund in the event of injury. -----We hope all of our members and supporters are keeping safe and well in these difficult times. It feels like we are in the eye of the storm right now given the huge numbers of reported Covid cases of late but better days lie ahead and before we know it we will be back on the pitches training and participating in the games we love.
Like most clubs, Covid has severely impacted our finances and particularly our ability to fundraise. We are extremely grateful for all who supported our Christmas Draw and continue to support our weekly Lotto and Bingo. Membership accounts for just over one quarter (27%) of the clubs total expenditure in a normal year but it is hugely important in providing a solid financial foundation for the year ahead; so we ask that all of our members renew their subscription as soon as possible.
Changes
Membership Prices haven’t changed but we have moved our online membership onto ClubZap and simplified the overall process. You also have the option to pay using Apple Pay (Safari Browser) or Google Pay (Chrome Browser) when purchasing directly from your phone. The other big change is the introduction of dynamic pricing for family memberships which means that the system will automatically work out your membership fee - you simply add all of the members to your package and the system will apply the discounts.
Our club registrar Marie Woods has asked us to remind everyone to please read the instructions regarding membership before commencing your purchase. In particular this applies to Family memberships/discounts.
This will help you to select the correct options and ensure you get the correct discounts applied to your family membership purchase.
Specifically in relation to Family Discounts the following applies...
FAMILY DISCOUNTS
Note: All discounts are applied automatically as you add your member types.
What constitutes a family discount is 2 parents or guardians and children under the age of 18 only.
There must be two parents added to qualify for a family membership. Either one full member and one social member or two full members. We only offer a facility of one parent/guardian in exceptional circumstances - please contact the registrar.

There are a couple of ways for you to purchase your membership
By Phone
- Use the ClubZap App – Open the App > click on i My Club and select Membership.
You can scroll through the different membership options and prices and at the bottom click on Buy Now.
