On Sunday 26th May, our U14 Camógs hosted Moorefield in the Division 2 League Final in a sunny Conneff Park.

The Clane ladies had unfinished business, having been controversially beaten at the same stage last year and had remained unbeaten throughout this year’s league.

The first half of the match was a very close affair, played mainly in the middle third with some strong performances on both sides. The home team had their noses in front at half time. During the second half the Clane girls eventually wore down their opponents and, with some brilliant performances all over the pitch, ensured a 3-3 to 0-0 final score.

Overall it was an outstanding ending to an outstanding season for this bunch of girls and their coaches.
