We are delighted to announce that we will once again host the John Reidy Memorial Senior Hurling Tournament on Saturday, May 30th.
This will be the 6th time we will host and run the tournament with 7 teams visiting from every corner of Ireland plus Clane GAA as hosts. Over 40 teams have visited Clane over the years to compete in this great festival of hurling. The format will remain the same with 8 teams split across 2 groups; each team plays 3 group games of 30 mins (15 mins per half). The top 2 teams from each group will contest the cup final and the 2nd places teams will contest the shield final. The 3rd placed teams will also play each other as will the 4th place teams.
Every team will be provided with lunch and afterwards we will have a BBQ and live music in our club bar and beer garden. Every team entered is allocated a local host to assist and advise throughout.
